Nature Provided. We Perfected is more than a catchy phrase at Gossner Foods. Founded in 1966 by Edwin Gossner Sr, who had devoted his life to his passion of making fine Swiss cheese. Today, Gossner Foods is a growing family business with three locations across the western United States. With a combined 120 years of cheese making experience, state of the art equipment, and a team of dedicated employees; Gossner Foods is a leader in the dairy industry.
What began as a strictly Swiss cheese plant, has expanded until now over 30 varieties of cheese carry the Gossner name. When you see a Gossner label on your favorite cheese, you can rest assured that you are purchasing the highest quality product. In addition to our array of cheeses, Gossner Foods also processes UHT (Ultra High Temperature) shelf stable milk in a variety of flavors. This milk, which is aseptically packaged, can sit on the shelf for months without refrigeration and is ideal for food storage, camping, and school lunches!
Nestled in beautiful Northern Utah, the Logan location is home to the original Gossner Foods plant. Because of the demand for the high quality Swiss, cheese plants were added in El Centro, California and Heyburn, Idaho. Between the three plants, nearly 1,900,000 Pounds of BST free milk is made into great tasting cheese daily. The original location remains the heart of the Gossner Foods Corporation, with the majority of packaging and distribution happening here. The Logan location is also home to the UHT milk plant, where Grade A milk is specially packaged on state of the art equipment, to give it a longer shelf life.
