Gossner Foods is a family owned business with three locations across the western United States. With generations of cheese making experience, state of the art equipment, and a team of dedicated employees; Gossner Foods is a leader in the dairy industry. Gossner Foods primary focus remains Swiss and Muenster, but as a company they package a full variety of cheese in shred, slice, chunk and loaf. In addition to cheese Gossner Foods is the pioneer in UHT (Ultra High Temperature) shelf stable milk in a variety of flavors.

UHT Shelf Stable Milk

Gossner U.H.T. (Ultra High Temperature) Milk is real Grade A milk that has all the vitamins and nutrition of conventional pasteurized milk and is ready to use. No preservatives are added. Gossner Milk is Ultra High Temperature processed (over 280° F for several seconds) and packaged so that it is shelf stable and stays fresh without refrigeration until the sealed package is opened.

History

Edwin Gossner Sr. was born in 1909. He came from the eastern region of Edliswiel-Waldkirch, Switzerland where five generations of his family had lived as farmers. Today, our dedicated employees carry on the tradition and continue to provide world class dairy products.

Tradition

Nestled in beautiful Northern Utah, the Logan location is home to the original Gossner Foods plant. Because of the demand for the high quality Swiss, our production expanded to Heyburn, Idaho. Between the two plants, nearly 2.5 million pounds of rBST free milk is made into great tasting cheese daily. The original location remains the heart of the Gossner Foods Corporation, with the majority of packaging and distribution happening here. The Logan location is also home to the UHT milk plant, where Grade A milk is specially packaged on state of the art aseptic equipment, to give it a longer shelf life.
